There are two clinics running concurrently within the practice:

1. Lismore GP Super Clinic – booked consults
2. Lismore Medicare Urgent Care Clinic – Walk in ONLY

It may appear that other patients are being seen before you as the Lismore GP Super Clinic has 5 GPs with all patients having booked appointments.

There is 1 dedicated Doctor and triage Nurse only allocated for the Urgent Care Clinic.

Phone Accessibility:

• The Urgent Care Clinic phone (02 6620 0188) will be accessible from 5:00pm to 7:30pm, 7 days a week. During this time, patients can call to inquire if the clinic is at capacity before arriving as a walk-in patient.

Important Reminders:

• Don’t Wait to call: If you’re feeling unwell throughout the day, please don’t wait until 6pm or later to arrive. Early arrival helps avoid the possibility of being turned away if the clinic reaches capacity – remember phone the clinic on availability from 5pm.
• Waiting Periods: Extended waiting times may apply depending on patient needs and priorities. Patients are triage and seen in the order of acuity and extended waiting times may occur.
• NSW Ambulance Costs: Patients are responsible for any charges related to NSW Ambulance services.
• Ancillary Services: Pharmacy, radiology, and pathology services may operate at different times to the Urgent Care Clinic. Please check for specific details.
